How is my jewellery made?
G for George sources the jewellery from overseas, each piece is then engraved in Melbourne, Australia. Every order is hand picked, engraved and packaged with love!
What is sterling silver?
Sterling Silver is a combination of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals such as copper. G for George jewellery is marked with a S925 stamp.
Why is my jewellery tarnishing?
Your jewellery may tarnish because copper, which is the other metal often used in Sterling Silver can react with oxygen in the air and can cause tarnishing. To prevent tarnishing, store your Sterling Silver jewellery in airtight bags when not in use. The best way to prevent tarnishing is to wear your Sterling Silver jewellery frequently. To remove the tarnishing use our polishing cloth that is included with every purchase. Hot tip* when cleaning the inside of the circle, use a toothpick to get into the corners and remove the tarnishing!
How do I care for my jewellery?
With proper care, your Sterling Silver jewellery will last a lifetime. We recommend using our polishing cloths to clean your jewellery. They are non-abrasive and won't damage the jewellery.
